Climate Anxiety Hope

About us

Climate Stories Atlantic is an initiative of the Climate Focus Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to covering stories about community climate solutions.

Climate Stories Atlantic builds on the success of the Climate Story Network, which launched in 2023 and provides professionally written and edited articles about positive climate change projects in Nova Scotia.

With Climate Stories Atlantic, we’re extending this climate journalism to include all four Atlantic provinces. It will be the first of its kind in the region: an exclusively climate-focused online publication & content platform, including articles, podcasts, and columns, featuring professional writers and journalists.

Our content is about real-world solutions. We take a jargon-free, down-to-earth, and cautiously hopeful look at positive climate action.

Climate Focus was founded by professionals with a wealth of experience in journalism, public education, communications, climate change, and film-making.

As we build public awareness of climate solutions, Climate Focus — the non-profit organization behind the Climate Story Network and Climate Stories Atlantic — is grateful for the assistance and support of our partners.

We are fortunate to have the financial support of agencies that recognize the importance of local knowledge-sharing about climate change solutions including:
